Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin, the Republic of Ireland, on the 11th of November in 1966. She is a model and an Irish actor. Alison Doody made her film debut as the Bond actress on the set of A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she starred as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody portrayed Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Doovan portrayed Charlotte in Taffin in 1988, and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody was invited by a photographer, who asked her to take on the role of model. Then she began an industry-wide career in commercial modeling. Doody was averse to glamour and nude modeling, which that she incorporated into her acting. Doody was offered a tiny role as Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill after she was spotted by the director of casting. Doody appeared on John Willis Screen World Volume 2. She was one of twelve promising young actors for the year 1986. 38. Doody was just turning 18 years old when she was given the role as a Bond girl. She is still the youngest Bondgirl to date. in 1987 Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying where she played IRA member Siobhan Doovan. Doody played the role of Archibald's wife, Lilias, in his dream in 1987's television adaptation The Secret Garden. Her first lead role was in the 1988 episode of Jim Henson fantasy series The Storyteller in the role of Sapsorrow alongside John Hurt Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. In 1988, she starred alongside Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. Her most recognizable part to date was that of Austrian Nazi sympathizer and archaeologist Doctor Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in the 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody was in the film in the film with Sean Connery, who played Indy's father. In the year 1991, Doody was co-starring with Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the publication fraud, also known as the Hitler Diaries. She subsequently relocated to Hollywood. She was Flannery her agent as well as partner on the set of Major League II. She was selected as an alternative to Cybill Shepherd, who was once L'Oreal's spokeswoman. After a long absence from screen Doody returned to acting and acted in a tiny role in 2003 British comedy movie The Actors with Michael Caine playing herself in an event scene for the award ceremony. Her roles include a TV film version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004 as well as a booklet on the Holocaust as well as a short film called Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. Doody appeared as a character in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. Later, she guest-starred in the RTE the medical drama The Clinic. She was also set to play the lead role in a remake in 2011 of the horror movie The Asphyx. However, that project eventually stalled. Her first two seasons of the E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. She starred in We Still Kill the Old Way in 2014, a documentary.
