Iliza Shlesinger

 Iliza Vie Shlesinger, born February 22, 1983 , is an American comedian, actress, television host, executive producer, and screenwriter. She was the 2008 winner on NBC's Last Comic Standing. She was later the host of Separation Anxiety and the syndicated dating show Excused.





 Shlesinger hosted Truth and Iliza in a late-night talk program on Freeform in the year 2017. There are six Netflix comedy specials. The sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show premiered on Netflix in April 2020.



 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born to a Jewish family in New York City. She was brought to Dallas, Texas by her parents, who relocated to Dallas when she was just a infant. She attended the private Greenhill School in Addison, Texas where she was a student of Spanish as well as participated in the school's improv group.





 Shlesinger performed at ComedySportz Dallas and was a freshman at the University of Kansas. She was also a participant in Semester at Sea. She attended Emerson College in Boston. She studied film and editing. She also became an actor in the Jimmy's comedy sketch group Traveling All Stars.

 Shlesinger, who graduated from college, relocated to Los Angeles in order to pursue stand-up comedy. She was one of the most well-known members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
