Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson was born on July 7th, 1968. She is an American actor best known for her performances in Blue Bloods as Linda Reagan, Alex Taylor and Josie Watts on the NBC soap drama Another World.
Childhood and early life
Carlson was brought up in Glen Ellyn by Robert Eugene Carlson, her father being a teacher. Carlson was born in Elmhurst ([DuPage County Illinois], close to Chicago). She is of Swedish descent , and has roots in Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: Early career and college
She first came to Hollywood through her role as a background actor in the film Lucas with Charlie Sheen (Corey Haim) and Winona Ryder. She later followed her elder sister Betsy to Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.
